Terrible, Terrible!

It is a terrible terrible day,
Wish I hasn't woken up today.

The lecturer is in a horrible horrible rage,
Due to missing assignment page.

Here I am sitting in an enormous enormous fear,
Together with my fellow peer.

But nothing can compare to the terrible terrible guilt,
An all-consuming emotion being built.

1st Day Back in IPGMIK

It had been nine days of absolute bliss. Assignments thrown to the back of the mind, lack of sleep cured, and most importantly, I got to gather with my family at Genting Highlands!

My younger sister and I had to take a bus up since the car couldn't take so many people. When we arrived at One Utama at 11.30 a.m.,we were told that the next bus would be at 2.30 p.m. That certainly put a hitch on our plan. Can you imagine our frustration?

We bought the tickets and went for lunch. After taking a look at the available restaurants, we decided to go for pizzas. It's not really very satisfying since we have to limit ourselves to a very small budget.

By 2, we were waiting at the bus station again. We boarded the bus a couple of minutes after 2.30. Urgh....Malaysian time!

The one-hour-ride was uneventful. We dozed off after a little while. When we arrived at the Skyway station, our eyeballs nearly fell out - there were already over one hundred people in the line. How I wished to cancel the trip.

Luckily, it wasn't a long wait as I thought. In fact it was very fast. We only waited for about fifteen minutes.

The cable-car ride was scary. all the sounds from the cable, the height, the movement of the car.....scared us out of our wits.......not really. It was scary, yes, but also a unique experience.

Finally, we arrived at Genting at about 3.30p.m. What a hassle; we were 3 hours behind the rest of our family and they waited for us for lunch which turned into hi-tea.

Although we spent our time in the free hotel room, we still enjoyed ourselves. It was relaxing. However, I would prefer the calmness of Bukit Tinggi. If I had more budget, I would have preferred The Japanese Tea House there.

One day..........I promise myself.

To Presume Is To be Consumed (Part 1)

Joan's hands shook. She stared at the electronic device sitting on the coffee table innocently in shock.

Soon she came back to her senses. She took a deep breath into her deprived lungs and let it out again. Slowly, she returned to her usual calm and aloof state. The tremors in her hands stopped as well.

The dubbed 'Ice Princess' had shown herself in the house, which was a rarity since this was the only sanctuary Joan would allow herself to take off her defences. Here was where the vulnerable little girl hidden beneath all the sharp thorns would show up.

Whereby the employees from her successful company would find this cold and collected side of her normal, anyone who truely knew the Joan in the Sanctuary would be shocked. Not that there was such a person in the whole world. Ever since the day she left 'The House', she had closed her fragile heart off from the cruelty of the world.

'The House' - thinking about it made her lips curled up in a bitter smile. Before that fateful day, it was her Heaven, her home. She had a gentle mother and an indulgent father. Since she was an only child, she was given unconditional love by both her parents.

Spoilt as she was, she never brought any shame onto the family. She was the epitome of the perfect daughter any parents could wish for - polite, intelligent and pretty. She was the ideal daughter and until that fateful day, she thought she had the ideal family too.

Perseverance

Busy, Busy, Busy
That seems to be
my life nowadays,
Busy, Busy, Busy
Buzzing around like a bee
Never able to rest for days.

Ouchy, Ouchy, Ouchy
My whole boy hurts
from the happy torture
the whole class went through
together.
Ouchy, Ouchy, Ouchy
I look at the birds
going on adventures
How I wish to be like them too
Living a life so much better.

Patiently, Patiently, Patiently
I told myself
Freely, Freely, Freely
Is how I see myself
Happy, Happy, Happy
Is my feeling
once I become a true teacher!

Family or Everything?

Today, we were having presentations on the topic 'Family' in the class. There were many concepts on this topic given. However, all the concepts have one same meaning - a social unit linked together through marriage, blood relation, or even adoption. One of the group went another step further and said that there must be emotional tie before the unit of more than one person can be considered a true family.

This may be true for a lot of people, but to me, these definitions of concept are just not enough to describe my opinion and most importantly, my feelings for my family. To me, there are only two words to describe the concept 'family' and those are 'My World'.

My family is everything to me. They are the center of my life. Some may think that I am too dramatic. Others may say that that's a plain lie. It doesn't matter. I have carried with me such an extreme opinion my whole life and I foresee no change in the near future. I simply can't imagine a life without my beloved family.

Thus, my personal opinion on the concept of 'family' is simple - family is my everything!

Guess, Guess, Guess.....

Guess, Guess, Guess.....
What am I?
Everyone has this
Old or young
Narrow or wide
Let me give you a clue
Each line has an embedded one
Do you get it now?
Kee...Kee...Kee....

Up and Down - Which is Better?

Up and down, up and down,
That's how our life is,
Up and down, up and down,
We will live all our lives like this.

Up and down, up and down,
All prefer the up than the down,
Up and down, up and down,
Most are living the down.

Up and down, up and down,
Which one is better?
Up and down, up and down,
The up keeps us happier.

Up and down, up and down,
Without the down, we'll never learn,
Up and down, up and down,
Which is your choice - ermm...?

The thorny road to the light,
Or to forever walk the straight line?
